Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) This is one of the Black Friday goodies I've grabbed. "Triplicate Records" always is a good address for finding some very fine electronica stuff in case of need. Well, I was in considerable need yesterday, so I picked an older album by George Evans aka "Suncastle", since I enjoyed (and still enjoy) his October 2019 release "Basecamp" pretty much. Needless to say that I'm enjoying "Original Son" just as much. By the way, it comes with some of the best liner notes I've ever read... :-D Favorite track: Forest fire.

Jeff Haight This is a richly layered and thoughtful album with impeccable synth arpeggios that color each track as they carry the listener through the soundscapes crafted by Suncastle. The tracks progress in a really beautiful way and new sonic surprises unfold keeping both the mind and ears fully engaged. Highly recommended for heady listening sessions and if you’re in the mood to explore. Favorite track: Deer Archer.

Armchair Nomad Even if the music was terrible, which it's definitely the polar opposite, the album description alone is enough of a reason to be here! Glad I'm finally getting the chance to listen to these great tracks!
